    RIP David Bowie

David Bowie has died age 69. While he may not be metal, without his glam influences throughout the late 60s and early 70s many early metal pioneers may not have been inspired to go to the outrageous lengths they did to create such killer music and an image to boot.

Man, this is a depressing time to live. Who's next, Keef?

David Bowie dies aged 69 after 18-month cancer battle: reports - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)
"I'm afraid of new guitars. They're too shiny, I can't play them or take them anywhere. They might get damaged!"

He also always stayed relevant and pushed his own boundaries. Bringing Nine Inch Nails on tour in the mid-90s was an odd choice that turned out to be brilliant, and a huge boost for both of them.

So sad he's gone, but what a life he lived.

Wow..I got into his music really late and there will never be another like him.

What an incredible legacy to leave behind though.
