I just heard about this. This sucks.
All I can ask is that I suck a little less each time I pick up my guitar...

RIP. I loved his songwriting in the Eagles.

Fuck 2012. 2016 is the year the world ends. At least for many of our idols and the greats from generations past.

The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"... and I'll look down and whisper "No. ― Alan Moore

This one hurts for me. Bowie and Lemmy - I'd listen to them on occasion but not much. Very sad they are gone but they didn't really have an impact on me.

But Glenn - I've been listening to the Eagles and some of his solo songs almost my entire life - at least for 30-35 years. I know the first cassette I listened to was Hotel California & I must have been about 7 or 8. Borrowed my sisters tape player & cassette. Just laid on the floor & listened to it over & over. Have loved their music my entire life. Listening to the Eagles right now.

I think this will kick me in the rear to try to learn the song Hotel California.
