    Recycling Guitar & Bass Strings

Hey all - don from D'Addario here. Today we announced the world's first Guitar String Recycling program.

The recycling program is called "Playback" and it rewards you for recycling ANY brand of used strings, not just ours. Shipping the strings back to us is prepaid - all you have to do is print out the label - slap it on a box. Please note that this is a very new initiative and currently only available in the US.

You can learn more about it here - Playback - The World's First String Recycling Program

neat, I have 3 or 4 sets of bass strings just curled up in a drawer somewhere, mostly they are d'addarios though

This is awesome! I had no idea you guys have a reward program going on either. I've thrown away several bags with SN numbers on them here recently.

I really like this, too bad I like most others have just thrown away used strings in the past, but now I'm going to save all used strings

Actually I don't even change strings that often, I use regular D'Addario XL strings on all guitars and bass and they hold up fine thanks to no noticable hand sweat. Hahahah

I guess I'll be getting some free D'Addario stuff. I'll just put a box next to the tech's workbench.

Excellent stuff! You guys gave always used less packaging than just about everyone else, and what you did use (at least on the XLs, which I use) was recyclable or biodegradable, which is great for hippies like me.

Will you have an address EU/UK customers can send them to?
