    New Haken album: Affinity

This just came out today, I've seen these guys 3 times live (twice on the Progressive Nation at Sea cruise) and they kill it! This is one of my early favorites off the new one.

I'm listening to it right now. Its pretty good so far. It'll be hard to top The Mountain, though!

I'm currently listening to it too and digging it so far. I've said this before but Haken is basically what Dream Theater might sound like if they spend the last 20 years working on their songwriting instead of their iphone synth patches.

Hahaha so true. I really can't stand Dream Theater's new stuff. Which I hate to say since they used to be my #1.

Saw them last night in San Antonio, was completely fucking awesome. They are insanely tight live, they pull everything off so well. Was well worth not getting home till 1am on a work night.
