Sounds awesome man! I've always loved that song and this is a great performance and recording. Sounds very warm and intimate, like the version on the unplugged album.

I'm years out of practice so I probably can't do it for shit now, but I got pretty good at it when I was in high school. It's just practice and knowing the individual parts really really well so that you don't have to focus entirely on either one of them. Or with some songs you can kind of look at it as one part leading the other. Like you look at the lyrics to Hangar 18 and start to see it as (I'm going off memory so this might be slightly off):
the bolded parts being where the slides happen. So you can focus a little more on the vocals and let them queue your hands to play the correct rhythm.
