    I disagree, I think early Ozzy fuckin' ruled. Dude was unique as hell, and without his voice there is no Black Sabbath. He added that 70's psycho-spookiness to everything that made their music so unique. Nobody sounds like old Sabbath does. I like the RJD era stuff as much as the next guy but they may as well be two different bands. Ozzy is off his rocker now and his wife is a titanic cunt these days but the dude is a legend for a reason, ya know?

    Historically speaking, yeah, he did a lot for the genre. But musically (not even comparing him to Dio), if you can't do it live, you can't do it. I don't think I've ever seen a live clip of him hitting his notes
