Really cool! The lead guitarist sounded a little out of tune though.
Disclaimer: I work ultra part-time for a local music gear dealer. And as a male plus-sized model for mankinis.

Yeah, I can't imagine the feeling of hitting the first few notes and thinking "This is a basically non-stop set, in front of a huge crowd that knows the material, being streamed and recorded, and my fucking guitar is a hair out of tune."

better or worse than thinking you nailed it and sounded awesome, only to watch the footage later and THEN realize that you were out of tune and fucked the whole thing up?

They're local to my area so I get to see them on occasion. One of the few local acts I'll actually go out of my way to see.

Out of tune guitar aside, that was awesome.

The most impressive part of that is the dude playing the game onstage with the band.

EDIT: I just went through both the Ninja Gaiden and Megaman 2 vids. Neither are perfect performances as there's slop and mistakes everywhere, feeling raw overall. But dammit I can't fault them for playing faithful note for note arrangements to the music of the whole damn game, which is an impressive feat on it's own. The Megaman 2 vid hits home for me as I've pretty much used the NES series as my introduction to figuring out music on keyboards before learning guitar. The little Ninja Gaiden 2 and Megaman 3 touches were also pretty neat.
