    They've always been around ..the 90's/2000's were full of killer old-school bands (Cauldron Born, Domine, Septor, Ironsword, etc..) it's just that no one really gave a fuck about them until the recent 'NWOTHM' thing











    And some cool new bands, besides others mentioned already..

    I was not aware that this is actually a thing. good though. If it means I get to know more badass raw heavy metal records that is completely fine for me.
