I got Kill Em All right before Ride came out. I loved it, but Ride was a game-changer for me and to this day is one of my all-time favorite albums. KEA set the stage for sure, and many other bands never matured past that era, but for my tastes at least, it doesn't hold a candle to Ride.

From there, I started buying their albums in reverse. First AJFA, then MOP, then RTL, and then I picked up the apex of thrash, KEA.

Exactly my experience, finding them after the black album, skipping around the older ones, then watching my favorite band release Load

Ride, Master, and Justice are gold and have a permanent place on my iPhone.

    No joke

Granted, I eventually got to liking Load, just considering it as the first album of a band that wasn't Metallica!
