    Alice In Chains

I know this'll get Shannon's interest I've had Jar of Flies practically on loop for the past week and a half, and I can't get enough of it. I've even got most of Don't Follow licked on the acoustic

They fucking rule. Period. Shower them with praise here

They rule. It was a damn shame what happened to Layne.

That was such an amazingly underrated album when it was released. It shows a depth to the band that most people didn't know existed, and the sparser song structures really gave the vocals a chance to shine. Jerry Cantrel is the best guitarist to come out of the grunge era.
Division: American Metal without the suck.

    So live for today,
    Tomorrow never comes.
    Die young, die young,
Can't you see the writing in the air?
    Die young, gonna die young,
    Someone stopped the fair.

Awesome, awesome band. Love them to death. And a damn shame about Layne. Jerry is an awesome player.

Fantastic stuff. I thought Jerry Cantrel's solo albums were pretty damn good, too.

I still get chills when I hear Layne's bit in Don't Follow. It's only a few lines, but they're just so damn powerful.

Alice in Chains was such a great band. Dirt is one of the best CDs ever.

One of my favorite songs from that CD.
