    Impromptu new pedal day!

Well, my brother just said I could have his old Boss DS1 (in exchange for going out to get more beer), given that he's basically stopped using it since he got his Bad Monkey overdrive.
I knew this pedal was great anyway, from when I was practicing on his equipment before moving up to London, but it's slotted really nicely into my current rig. The main thing it's going to be used for is fattening up the neck single-coil sound on my six string guitars. With the DS1 added to my regular POD settings, the neck singles have this really nice smooth sustain, so I suspect this'll get a lot of use from now on!
"The greatest power one may possess -- in any situation -- is simply not to care what happens.

"In fact, it's the only power, all others being a semblance and mockery of it. But you must also not care about possessing the power itself. So fuck it."
