here's my issue:
My nobels mf2 midi foot controller suddenly goes nuts - the LED will read "888" (it's a 3-digit LED) and all the off the buttons will cease to work. I have to power down, then turn it back on. Mid song - this sucks. Between songs, it still sucks.
I just checked the manual, it says it needs this for power: 9V - 12V DC, min. 600 mA. I currently have it fed off the auxilary power out-put jack from by Boss TU-2 Tuner pedal - which is only 200mA. So, my theory is that the mf2 is getting malnourished, and sometimes goes into a coma. Is this feasible?
Assuming it's true - my current set-up: The three things on my board that need power are:
Boss TU2 tuner (needs 9v dc, 55mA)
Nobels MF2 midi foot controller (needs 9-12v dc min 600mA)
Morely Bad HOrsey (needs 9v, 300mA)
I have no idea how amperage works. if i get a one spot power adapter (1700mA) and daisy chain stuff, will it be safe? Will I fry stuff? Or are amps just available juice and my 3 pieces of gear will simply draw what they need (a total of 955mA)?
Here's the one spot. Visual Sound - Guitar Effects Pedals, 1 SPOT Pedalboard Power Supplies, and more... The manual says it's compatible with all Nobels pedals.
i'm really hoping my control board issue is a simple one (power supply).
Man, I totally didn't think of the current requirements last night. I power mine off it's own dedicated power adapter, so maybe that is your problem.
