I've been looking for a multi-guitar stand that can accommodate V's. I haven't had much luck so I've been thinking about trying to build one. I'm not very good with carpentry but I know a guy who can help. I sat down tonight and came up with a rough idea. It would be made out of some standard cut's of lumber (2x4s etc), some shelf brackets, and foam padding. I welcome any suggestions on the design, or if you know of a multi-stand I can buy that would do a good job with V's let me know. Here are some renders:
i would still 100% not want the v sitting straight up like that. id want to angle stuff.
the other issue, do you play rhodes at all? a rhodes needs a different spacing to hold it up.
either way, id want it to either lean into the back of the stand (right of http://www.cavera.com/artwork/v_holder03.JPG) or the back of the guitar, like on a normal guitar stand with a strat.
one thing to consider: maybe think of a multiple guitar hanger that works in the same fashion, front to back like that, but then its 100% shape independant
