So... I made a poor man's talk box. Don't have the tubing...im going to pick that up tomorrow, but I think I hooked it up wrong. I looked at the Heil/Dunlop instructions and tried it, which said to hook it up to the speaker hookup on the amp, but the Heil handles 100w, where the Compaq.....well, it doesn't. I did it, and it lasted for about 5 minutes. Sounded GREAT!....Until it died. How else can I hook this thing up? I've got one more speaker I can use, and I really want to try this thing out.
An old compaq computer speaker
A RAT distortion box (the actual box it came in )
Part of an instrument cable taped to the speaker's wires
A coke bottle top to cover the speaker.
(Don't worry, the amp is a broken Marshall Valvestate so no damage to the already broken amp)
Though, with Rocktron's Banshee (The Heil box is a hassle) being stupendously cheep, and awesome, there's no reason to do such a thing.
