Neat idea. It's like having a Palmer and the cab/mic section of an AxeFx in one rack unit.

Pricey though. But probably worth it if you've already got an extensive collection of amps that you just have to use.

For $2600 you're better off running your head into a Weber speaker load, then to an Axe-FX for the speaker and mic modeling. Same thing, hundreds less.

Of course then you get everything else the A-FX does too, amps, effects, etc.
