Nah. IIRC, he kept posting random Axe-FX videos in the Axe-FX Q&A thread, even after people told him that the Recording Studio forum would be more appropriate, and when the mods finally started removing them, he got butthurt and removed himself from the forum.

I like both clips, but it seems like either the models have a completely different voicing, or they're just EQed very differently. I think I'd be happy enough with an HD as backup.

Yeah all of Ola's vids on youtube sound pretty beast although he's admitted to adding post-EQ to most of them to get them there so I think it's just the fact that he really knows how to dial in recordings.

Also FWIW he stated the following on a thread over at R/T when someone posted that they felt the POD sounded way better:

So all the POD presets and AFX presets he used for the recordings were done on the spot. He felt his personal dialed in tones for the Axe sounded better. However, that is not saying that if he spent 6 months dialing in the POD he couldn't do the same.

actually I must say for it to be Line 6 that is impressive.. especially compared to the Axe-FX. I'm going to hold off on the floor model and wait for a updated Pod version.

The Axe has more string-to-string clarity on the 2. clip. It also has a more "natural" sounding growl to it.
The HD does not sound bad, and I am sure it will fill the needs of many players.
