I'm sure he's running an amp model of some sort. Quite possibly a clean amp, like a Fender or Jazz Chorus type model. Doing that gives the guitar sound the expected body and feel while still staying nicely buried under your distortion.

Which Recto are you using? Roadsters, for example, have a Slave Out which is derived from the speaker-out signal. Basically a line-level output of the Roadster. So you could run that into your effects and keep the same basic tone, but make it 100% wet on that side.

Solo 50, Single Rectifier. I don't think I have a slave out on mine off the top of my head.

Manuals say they do, both versions. Run the Slave Out into your Lexicon. Profit.

So... Slave out to Lexicon input, then that to the Marshall? Correct?

Yep, Lexicon into the effects loop return of the Marshall. Try it and report. You will have to tweak some levels on the Lexicon, I expect.

I'll have to tweak levels, but hopefully this will work out good.

Marshall is beyond dead. wasn't even worth the effort haha. Its not just the preamp section...the whole thing is just junk.

OK. Do you have any other amps with effects loops?

Wirelessly posted (Shadow: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.2.1; en-us; Droid Build/FRG83D) AppleWebKit/533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1)

Nope but I will figure something out. I am eventually going to get a second head/cab anyway.

One thing that would be interesting to try:

Slave Out --> Lexicon --> Rocktron Velocity 300 --> Cab
