it was that or a mesa boogie mark 5 ~ seriously awesome tone i was hearing
from two specific youtube videos, but that could be the cabs and mic setup as well.

this video alone, sold me on the mark 5, no distortion pedal required...
still for what i played i thought the savage is more than adequate for what i
the savage sounded really flat through the engl cab so i am getting a mesa boogie roadster cab to go along with it. ~ nice thick tone.
i was planning to get a axe-fx 2 i don't think that'll come out for a couple of months. besides, i was encouraged to test out a REAL tube amp before diving into the axe fx sensation.
but anyways, can anyone justify having a savage AND a mark 5? or should i just wait on the axe fx 2? despite the sounds being almost exactly alike, i am starting to understand that the axe-fx will never give you that real tube sound like the ampl itself, from what some of you guys said to me.
That being said, if it were me I would just do a Stiletto head and a Mark V head, and switch between them with a Headbone. I can't imagine needing more versatility than that. But that's my opinion.
Holy balls, the Savage sounds awesome.
