    Alternative to Peterson iPhone adapter?

So, I bought this, and as good as it is for standard tunings, I find that it's a bit sketchy getting down to the likes of C and B, and definitely A and bass guitars. I've looked around and found this isn't the highest quality adapter, and also figured out it's a one way only thing.

Are there any adapters that work with the iStrobo app and will also allow me to output audio though a 1/4" jack? The reason I ask is the PA we use at practice doesn't have XLR's on, and a 3.5mm to 1/4" jack is what I need to use.
