For the 8 stringers on here
I'm assuming they're the same gauges that Schecter and Ernie Ball use...so while it's great that they're available, it'd be a lot better if they came in useful gauges.
I'm sure you guys have seen me say this in a few 8-string threads, but having a 74 tuned to F# next to a 64 tuned to B is a huge difference in tension, which I find really difficult to play, because the pick attack needs to be adjusted between adjacent strings. I also find the 30 tuned to D and 42 tuned to A to be a bit too tight, and they were hurting my hands a little bit, and making vibrato difficult.
I still say that the ideal gauges for what's effectively a 10 set all the way across are: 10 13 17 26 36 46 62 80
