So my band is talking about finally doing shows. Awesome, right? Problem is, right now it's me, and a drummer, and a singer. My main instrument is bass, but I am able to play guitar as well (thus, being able to record still). As we know another solid bassist, but not too many guitarists, we were thinking that I might play guitar for shows (and I do write everything, so I know that I can play it).
Now here's the problem: I have totally shit guitar gear. As in a little 15 watt vox practice amp
I use guitar rig for all of my recording. Now, I'm poor, so I can't buy 10 billion dollars worth of gear (or even axe fx), but what do you guess think is the best route here? Should I grab a Pod x3, since that could also benefit me recording guitar and bass, or should I get some sort of combo amp?
Really guys, I'm totally lost on this one

POD X3 Live or one of the new HD models through the power section of a cheap but loud amp will get the job done for cheap.
