Default 6505+ Lead Channel = Not working (Fixed)

Well this is odd. Everything has been fine all day. Went out and grabbed dinner, came back, and now I have almost zero sound out of the lead channel on the 6505. With the pre/post up around 3:00 I can start to hear some sound.

I uncabled everything, so the signal path is just guitar > amp > cab. All 4 power amp tubes are glowing, but I haven't looked at the preamp tubes yet.

Any suggestions?

The rhythm channel is fine.

There's only 4 tubes in it that I can see. I reseated all of them, still no dice.

Where the hell are the preamp tubes? Every manual I see on the web has this thing listed with 6 tubes.

Looks like a tube that lost its vacuum. Maybe damaged in shipping?

The + uses a seperate tube for the clean channel IIRC, which is why your clean channel is working fine. Try swapping the first tube for the last (end for end) and you may find the dirty channel works again...
