So, I think I posted this before in my NAD thread, but I went back to watch it again and thought it might be of interest all on its own.
What you're hearing is budda and I jamming, him with his custom LP and me with my Warmoth Hermaphrocaster. He's running through a couple pedals (Tubescreamer, gate) and his Roadster head, I'm running the HD500 4-cabled into my Peavey Windsor head, along with an MXR Zakk Wylde Overdrive.
Most of the video you're hearing mainly the Windsor and the MXR, though I kicked on the modelled Tubescreamer in the HD500 for leads, and I think a bit of delay in places.
Where it gets interesting is around 6 minutes where we start getting gradually cleaner. At first I kick off the overdrives and it's just the straight Windsor tone, then I switch to the AC30 model in the HD500 through the Peavey's poweramp (cab sim on), and later turn the cab sim off and start playing with a couple effects.
At any rate, it gives a pretty good demonstration of the transparency of the HD500, and the quality of the modelling through a tube power section. During that jam session (though not on video) I also tried the Mesa model through the Peavey and it sounded really good as well. I also pitch shifted down to F# for some Tele-djent hilarity, also not on video
After all of that, I unplugged the HD500 and just went guitar->MXR->head and it sounded basically the same as with the HD500 plugged in and all the effects/modelling turned off.

I have no idea what I'm hearing. Are you guys jamming or taking turns playing over each other? Not trying to be mean, I simply can't make out what's what and I'm listening through my studio monitors.
