I've got a Bodenhamer Bloody Murder that I got ages ago as I like the option of relay switching it in & out. I've tried a few times to run it as a boost and have got it sounding pretty good, but I always find that when I do sustained palm mutes with it on, it descends into feedback far too quickly. Anyone else come across this?
I'm running it with an ISP, what order do you put your boost in Gate>Boost or Boost>Gate?
All I can add here is that the ISP is essential with the Bloody Murder. God this thing is noisy... But I love the tone it gives me. It goes off sometimes (ac plug got loose) and I can't see what I would replace it with. Did not like the Ibanez TS compared to it.
I do : guitar -- wah -- boost -- noise gate.
