This showed up today, and since I worked about 14 hours today I didn't take a whole lot of time (or any at all, really ) to make it neat. I picked up the Pedaltrain 2 for my 6505+:
Pardon messy as fuck cabling, and the fact that all of the feet are still on the pedals (no velcro yet) because I'm not sure where I'll end up putting them.
First impression is that I dig it, but it will definitely take some mojo to make it really a keeper. I have the standard set of PW patch cables for it, but the front end sits a little too low to tuck 'em in neatly. I'm powering it all with a One-Spot kit, but if I end up keeping this setup I'll grab a pedalpower down the road.
I have the Strymon stuff in the loop, which is why they're up so high right now. I think this could be pretty cool with a little time with George L cutting some custom cables to tie it in. I also think I could make something about twice as cool as this with $25 worth of MDF and some carpeting, but I'll give it the weekend and see if I can get it as neat as the price justifies.
Main chain: Bad Horsie 2 -> Korg Pitchblack -> Decimator -> TS808
Loop: Strymon Bluesky -> Strymon Brigadier
Ergonomically, I would put the two-button pedals up front, for easier ease-of-click. You have a greater margin for error with a one-button in the back.
