    Any that I've ever used sounded kind of thin, and you need your playing to be pretty clean to avoid getting weird noises. I'd only use one for a distinctive part live that really needs it.

    The harmonizer on the Axe Fx sounds good. The Eventide Pitchfactor is also great.
