Default modeller choice... specific amp model serch

i'm looking for something that can pull off a nice mesa markIII-mark V tone. i've had all the pods currently the hd400), they never really seemed to get close. other than the axefx, is there anything else that can pull it off?

If you are wanting one particular tone why not get that amp?

Back onto your question from what i remember with my brief usage of an eleven rack that does the mesa sounds very well.

He has that amp. Obviously he has a situation where a modeler will come in handy over a real amp, like recording late at night.

Not that I know of. If you find something I'd also be interested in the answer.

I've tried the Tech 21 California pedal, but it wasn't even close in my opinion.

Ahh i see.

In this case id go with a load box & impulses or a palmer pdi far cheaper and sounds better

GAWD. i wanted the axe before, now.... fml. i will have to aquire one of those, the pod hd i cant even get to come close to a tone related to that.

i actually dont have the mark anymore, not playing in a band, and getting laid off kinda did that in.

The POD HD does a nice Recto, but I can't get it to cop a Mark sound.
