Question EVH 5150 3?

Hey Guys,

I recently found a EVH 5150 3 Head for about 1000$.

I was wondering if it'd be worth saving up for or buying?

Just curious? I've heard great things, and many bands use them.
I was just wondring if they blow easy? Like I've heard, or just a tale?

I have a 6505+, but I was wondering if getting a EVH 3 would be good for the aresenal?

If anyone has any prayer requests, need to talk, or questions about the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Feel free to message me.

God Bless, Venator

I prefer the 5153 before the 5150 and 6505. There is just something more that amp.
I would totally get one for 1000USD! I don't know if that's cheap or not in the states though!

Imho, the 5153 is "recording-heaven" - that amp has a very cool extreme high end, that cuts through a mix like a katana sword through warm butter.

For USD 1000,- I'd take it right away, even if I do not need aanother amp. (but they are EUR 1800,- here or something).

EDIT: WAIT! Is it the "normal" 100W version, or the new "mini" amp? Because that one is much cheaper.

5150/6505 variants pop up around 800-1000 used here, even though there are loads of them EVERYONE wants one so the price doesnt drop too much.

A recto could easily be in your budget too if you're interested. I've seen a triple rec go brand new for like 1k here

Sweet! Thanks guys! Yes, I mean the big daddy one, not the mini.

Ola - So far it's been confirmed. lol!

Does it has special components for recording as well or like you were saying the mix overall?

Stealth - Really? Where at?

Yeah, the 5150 III is a really awesome amp. I helped a local shop do a shootout between that and a few other high gain amps, and it really shone through everything (except the Mark V, but I'm extremely biased towards that amp.)

Tonally, it's awesome, but I've heard a lot of horror stories about the quality of the builds. I'm sure you'll be fine, but just don't go dropping it a bunch

I've never seen that in America. Not even used. Triple Recs go about 2k here new.
