I grabbed this from a guy in the area off Craigs List - Chris has been trying to get me to sell him my 2x12 for some time now, and it was a good price and I dig the non-black grill.
Holy shit, I get why people have roadies! I was panting by the time I got it up to my 3rd floor room. Thankfully moving it on level surfaces is a lot easier than I expected, but man... If I had a gym membership I'd cancel it.
Virtually everything else. I've been a big fan of Mesa 2x12s for some time now - they're reputed to sound more like a 4x12 than almost anything else out there, they're built like a tank, and they're comparatively portable. And yes, they seem VERY portable by comparison to this 4x12. However, it looks awesome (I feel like I have a "real" rig now, haha), and just plain sounds better - more open, fuller, and more detailed. The extra air space really makes a difference.
If only it wasn't so damned heavy, haha.
Quick youtube comparison clip - this is a little rough since my arms now feel like jello. It seems subtle as you listen through, but start hopping back and forth between each cab and it's striking.

Also, seller was cool as hell and has a Tremoverb head for sale as well, $950 if memory serves. Anyone know anyone who's looking?
