Here's a shaky pic of the jack plate on my 2x12, taken by sticking my hand behind the cab because it's Sunday, and I'm too lazy to take the 4.39 seconds to pull it out from the wall.
I'm going to rewire this so that it's stereo, to take advantage of the stereo power amp that I have pushing it. I assume someone here has done it - is there any reason that I can't just uncap the parallel out jack and swap the wiring around?
Since I'm opening it up, I'm tempted to grab a new jack plate with those fancy_connectors_Roger_has_that_I_can't_remember_t he_name_of. But if I can stereo-ify it today with 5 minutes and a soldering iron, I may do it this afternoon.
The only issue that I see is that my power amp is 4/8 ohm, and decoupling the speakers from each other would put them at 16ohm apiece.
Yep, you can just solder one speaker per jack
Speakons, or those locking Neutrik things?
