Any big stubby pick fans in here?

I use the Big Stubby 2.0 but dont like how the tip wears down quickly! I have decided to try out the Big Stubby 2.0 Nylon picks which should help with tip wear! Anyone use these picks?

I used to use the regular stubby 2.0 or 3.0, I forget which, but honestly, they're just TOO thick. They sort of fucked up my picking hand - I hit pretty hard and use really heavy strings, so it was a lot of force hitting my joints at an odd angle.

I've been using Ultex Jazz IIIs lately, which are a pretty good compromise between thickness and stiffness.

they're great for bass, but I prefer my jazzIII's for guitar

Don't worry about people talking behind your back, it just means you're one step ahead and they're in perfect position to kiss your ass!

I used to love stubbies and big stubbies, but once i started playing with more gain and higher volume, i couldn't get over the "plink" sound of them hitting the strings.

Another Jazz III user here. I was never really fussed what I used for years until I got a load of these things and I've never looked back since. It doesn't matter what type as long as it's a Jazz III. The size & shape is just perfect. Wouldn't use anything else now.

I love using them if I'm playing fusiony legato (like a crap version of Holdsworth), i can really get them to make minimal pick attack.
But for higher gain stuff I prefer Jazz III.
