i'm getting more & more interested in blackstar tbh.

specially to have something good at home for practise & recording that's a tad more neighbourfriendly then my crate is

really tempting that amp at 399€'s tbh. Although it doesn't have the power know to turn it back down to 1W like the series ONE wich is a bit dissapointing.

Wirelessly posted (Mjolnir)

The thing already has onboard FX. You're not going to buy this amp for it's amazing models then get amazing rack units for FX. You're buying this amp because it sounds pretty amazing for $600 and has usable FX built in. Head + cab + midi board, you're ready to go.

The only reason I could see a use for an FX loop is for a Decimator. It's not exactly a deal breaker at that price though.

Bump.

I've been thinking about getting one of the 1x12 combos. It says it has USB connectivity, so I would just hook that into the computer, and then I could record directly into Reaper, or would it go through an interface?

Anyone got to try one of the ID series yet? I'm wondering if it would have suitable gain/voicing for death metal tones.
