So I've got this best buddy.
Me (obviously) and him (not so obviously) are guitar players.
His father, as I found out about half a decade ago, was much like us in the 1980's. He had some weird guitar that he either built or put together from existing parts (if my friend still has it I'll post pics ) and played in a band - he generally enjoys metal.
Anyway; there was this pedal always laying around of his that my friend never used when he was in a band. I think it sat in a tool bench draw in the shed of another friend whose house they would rehearse at.
Five years after it was chucked in there somewhere I said I'd have it. I tried it out last year and I thought it was broken (wouldn't turn off sometimes so you were stuck with the effect).
I hooked it up to my Randall's series loop and this is the result.
(this isn't my picture, had to google that shit)
It's an original 1980's Ibanez Delay. I can't remember the model:

Excuse the comedic mistakes - I need to replace the strings and don't like using Fast Fret
I thought this was worthy of a post since the only effects I've had in my FIRST EVER effects loop was the Morley Pro (selling that shit ASAP to fund a Bad Horsie, but that's irrelevant).
Now I sound a little bit more like Trey or Erik circa 2000
Delay pedals are the gateway drug, and then suddenly, you need a pedalboard.
