I know the wattage means the wattage, but i'v heard that v30's sometimes drown out the other speaker. But if they are both rated at 100db, then i guess it would be negligable. Perhapse the v30 just cut more so the people percieved it as being louder.

There's a simple fix to that, too: Turn the cab on its side, with the V30 closer to the floor. The G12H30 will seem louder.

If you want to hear the G12T75 just get any marshall 1960 cab you can find.

If you want darker and tight, classic lead 80's have my vote.

I'm just jumping in here to tell you to get the V30s. I won't use anything else and they're the standard in studios. I haven't found anything else that comes close.
