    For the first time in 2 years... NAD!!! (and a poll that you can help with...)

    That's right, after many long months of not doing anything guitar-related, I can now sit and stare at my new head until I get a guitar and cab! YAY!!!

    As you can see, it is a box. Excellent it is indeed, all branded and whatnot.

    That being said, it is nothing one of my many stanley knives can't handle! [insert laughter]

    Let's see that sweet, sweet amp!

    Surely the same can't happen again...

    The pedal ov doom;

    and finally, the money shot;

    ... ...

    Seriously stoked to have this, can't wait to, you know... USE it But this brings me to my conundrum; what cab to pair it with. I've been thinking of going with an Orange PPC412HP-8 (the high powered ones), but have heard they can be a touch 'honky' in the midrange which is simply not on, so I'm also tossing up a Mesa Recto oversized 412.

    Big fan of very industrial tones and also really compressed, fluid over-gained buzzsaw tones, lot of high end, bit of bass response, but not too 'scooped' per se, more notched in weird places. I absolutely, positively am not looking for anything resembling djent tone

    What say you? Vote in the poll, if you think there's something else I should consider seriously, vote "other" and let me know.

    Nice man, congratulations!! Personally I'd pick the Orange cab, just because they're rad for pretty much everything. That being said a Mesa will be MUCH lighter haha.

    I really LOVE the Orange with K100s, so that's my vote.

    I had that exact amp running with a Mesa oversized (recto) cab sounded awesome. But the standard (stiletto) cab sounds tighter. Cuz that Randall is gonna be really tight. I miss that amp. Lol. All that aside. Get a Randall xl cab with v30 save some money and they are awesomely built. Sound amazing. Below is my setup so you can see I know alittle about Randall. Attachment 8180
