I use like 4 core tones and want those to sound good, with great effects. The Axe-Fx II does that like a champ. The rest of the models sound great as well, but honestly how many guitarists actually use 20 different amp models on a daily basis? I know I don't.

The Kemper is a great session tool, but the Axe-Fx just does a shitload more.
The appeal of the AxeFX to me is that the particular amps it models is what I'd be looking for. With the Kemper, if it doesn't already model it, you're stuck looking for a good profile of it, or doing it yourself. That may or may not work out. Plus, does the Kemper have an app for editing on the computer? I'm sure it must, but I've not heard about it. It's really a must with stuff this complicated.

This is an American site run by an American. Why should we care about how much you have to pay?

Because you don't want to be yet another of many dudes that have bloody impressions of my beard on their backs, and a sudden inability to hold their faeces.

I'm Portuguese, you twat! We killed our king in 1910. We're that badass.

Jokes aside, it's not the Axe 2's price that kills it, it's just that it is a steep difference to the rest of the competition due to their capability to massify and reduce profit per unit.
