Had my Pod HD bean running and connected to my PC as it always is. All is running smoothly.
I decide to play with some EQ settings and load up Pod Edit software.
I get an error saying it cant do something with my patches and basically fails to load
I close it and try again. same thing
I turn off my Bean and turn it back on and the "LINE 6" loops over and over. This should usually be there for about 4 - 5 seconds before its up and running.
So i restart everything and still the problem continues.
I check the line6 website and you can do factory resets on the HDs and it wont wipe your patches
However you can only do while it is connected to the PC through the editing software. As my POD is stuck in a startup loop, i cant connect it to my PC
so after about an hour of forum scrolling I see a post explaining how to reset the HD500 and figured I would try it.
First step is turning the unit on with the LEFT ARROW held down.
It then starts up as normal...
I actually have no clue if it just happened to sort itself out or if holding down a button (in this case, left arrow) actually nudged it back into sync
Just thought I'd share
Hope nothing like this happens with my HD Pro. If it does, I will be sure to remember that!
