Hey guys. I just got a G-Major today and after spending about an hour trying to figure out how to navigate the menus and tweak stuff im pretty pleased with it.
Now I've looked through the controller sticky and they all seem ridiculously large or just look a bit ugly.
I've been looking at various options and have only come up with the engl ones such as the z-12
and this peak2005 one
[FCB4N2] Programmable MIDI Foot Controller (Ver2.0)
What I am wanting ideally is something with 4-6 switches and obviously bank up/down.
I don't care for expression pedals and would like to keep the footprint as small as possible whilst not being too cramped. Also a reasonable price would be a nice bonus.
peak controller's a decent one and seems to have the exact feature set you're looking
for. there's also the axxess electronics MFC-5, but axxess is now out of business. so you'll have to score one used. i have had mine for at least 7 years and they've held up rather well through several shows and rehearsal sessions..
couple others that might interest you:
liquid foot jr (discontinued?)
liquid foot jr+ (been eyeing this one)
i'm hoping fractal will release a super small version of their mfc. while it's a fantastic complement to the axe fx, i just find it far to bulky. good luck bro
