So, I'm in Utica... (Bonamassa Content)

I was out shopping for some snowboard accessories and I spotted this on the way:

Stopped in to check the place out. Turns out it's owned by Joe's dad, who was cool as shit. We talked gear, music and Joe for a little while.

I thought it would be awkward snapping pictures inside, so I didn't get any but it was a really nice place. Lots of Joe memorabilia up front but the gear inside was definitely the high point. A bunch of Gibsons (Les Paul, mostly), some EBMM/Sterlings in the back, Warwick basses, various used stuff. Looks like they carried a ton of new Vox and Fender amps, then a good selection of used heads and cabinets. There were two small, climate controlled acoustic rooms in the back that I only looked through briefly.

Overall, a cool place. Laid back, some neat gear, some little oddball used items here and there. Nice folks.

I left with a set of these:

For the most part, they look and feel like a normal Jazz III. There's a little raised lip around the edge on the side with the name on it. A/B'd with my red Jazz IIIs at home, the corners looked rounder but not by much.

EDIT: Apologies for the humongous cell phone photos.

EDIT 2: For good measure, their site:
