So I have a ts9 mxr gtod and boss super overdrive. I'm selling the mxr and the boss. Never liked the mxr and the boss was ok. I like my ts9. I need one more od pedal. I only use them for boosting high gain. I'm looking at the Zakk overdrive.
My question is what under 75 dollar pedal would you recommend. .
    Not 9 EMGs

i would recommend you save up more than 75 bucks and walk your ass to a store and try out 10 or so different pedals. figure out what you like.

the zw OD and GT OD are extremely similar pedals. In fact in some of the earlier ZW OD's there is a DIP switch that lets you change it into a GT. I'm not sure if they removed this in the later versions or not.

Maybe try out a fulltone OCD? If you like the TS9. It has a fair few similarities but overall is more ballsy and aggressive.

I always think that if all you want it for is to boost high gain and tighten things up then a TS variant is the way to go. It cuts some bass and adds a nice mid hump that works great with high gain IMO.

The best way to boost your amp is to punch it in its whore mouth.

    For $20 more, I'd buy this: overdrive2

I would get a Custom Modified OD over the Wilde.
