Dispatch Master is the name of the pedal. Delay and reverb in one.
So I'v been researching delays and reverbs lately. I'm a delay and reverb nut and do a decent amount of ambient music using stacked delays and verbs. Came across this guy. I'v heard of Earthquaker before, but hadnt had any experience with them.
Well holy shit, this pedal is amazing. Its EXACTLY what I was looking for. Its the perfect pedal for ambient music. The reverb sounds so encapsulating and wide. It just goes on and on. The delay sorta lies between an analog and digital. The repeats just have this beautiful texture on them.
The other thing I'm digging is that its never over bearing. Even at full mix, there is still a bit of dry signal comming through and the verb and delay is always present and audible, but never overwhelms the dry signal. And likewise, at low mix settings, the verb and delay sit in the background but somehow are still quite present and audible. I can easily say this is the coolest pedal I have every laid my hands on. It makes the simplest runs into beautiful textures that you can just live in.
Anyway, I'm impressed as hell. I sold 2 delays and 2 reverbs and are replacing them with this, and I couldnt be happier. I'm sold on the Earthquakers. Tomorrow I have an Earthquaker Tone Reaper fuzz comming in, so I'l report back once I get some play time. But I see my pedal board quickly getting filled with Earthquakers
And price wasnt too bad for the quality. $185. Got 2 18ft cables and 2 patch cables free aswell
