First Tube Amp On The Way. (Excited!)

I just broke down and bought my first tube amp. I found a used Blackstar HT5 head with 12" Cab at guitar center for less than $400 shipped and warranted.

I think it will far surpass my current Crate GFX-212. I'm so freaking excited!

Nice! One of my favorite amps.

The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"... and I'll look down and whisper "No. ― Alan Moore

Thanks all. It was a toss-up between the HT5 and the Jet City 20 watt. I chose the Blackstar because it does clean where the Jet City really doesn't. I would have liked having the SLO channel of the Jet City, but all the demos on the HT5 I've watched indicate it will do metal fairly well too. I think in terms of tone and versatility I'll be much happier with the HT5. I'm not in a band at the moment, so I really didn't see the need for 20 watts. I could probably do a small bar/club with the HT mic'd anyway, which is about as far as I suspect my music career will go aside from home/studio recording. Anyway, I can't wait to get it here.
