I played a JVM405H something or other, because I was in GC to get some picks. Saw they actually had an amp that wasn't a Line 6 Spider III, so I plugged a PRS SE Korina into it, and shuffled through the channels.
Damn. This has got to be the best sounding Marshall in awhile. Blows the shit TSL/DSL's out of the water, no contest. Cleans were actually quite impressive, reverb sounds good, and most sounds were very, very usable. I found the "red" on the OD1/OD2 channels to be a bit over the top for my tastes, since I'm more "Drew" gain levels, as opposed to the Quigs' gain levels. But it certainly didn't sound bad.
The orange on the OD2 just killed. Classic JCM800 high gain tones. Letting out a squeal on the low E was awesome.
Fuck, I really want one, but no way in hell am I paying $2400 for one. Really great sounding head for those looking for a high gain Marshall sound.
This was pretty much my experience too
