Any ideas on getting these cabs to sound good? It has been rough going so far but I have only been messing with it a few hours. I know it is inherently limited by the fact that the speaker is boxed in and cannot move naturally, but I want to try everything I can with it before I dismiss it and sell it.
I have a Shure SM57 and a Perception 220 for mics to work with.
Thanks for your thoughts,
try padding it more inside but it's basically still going to be boomy. You can remove some of that boomyness around the 150-350hz area later but it will still be apparent. But in a mix you wont hear it that much!
