Thought I needed to get myself a small downsized rig for late night practice. And just how downsized can I go?
About this much:
It's basically a Satchurator with a built in delay and all that fits in my pocket. Size matters not. Look at it, Judge it by its size, do you? Hmm? Hmm. And well you should not.
And to add another purchase:
This is my second Whammy, bought for a pretty cheap deal. I've been sorely neglecting whammy use for quite some time only until recently in the last few months and this blows my Whammy IV out of the water. True bypass really helps a lot with these hunks of red meaty pedals. The tracking on the pitch shifting is improved. The Detune stuff is a nice addition but I haven't fully utilised it much. But the surprise is the momentary switch, which is a fun shifter that's dependant on the DT settings. Both Whammy and DT features can be used together so all sorts of munch kin comedy can be done here. Hell I wrote an instrumental based on the Harmony 4ths/5ths treadle and the DT switch has given me a few new possibilities for it. Definitely a fun unit.
Sick! Been wanting one of those whammys lately for stoned fun wankery.
How's that mini vox sound compared to that little mini Marshall stack? If you've played both, that is.
