Reverb And Delay Pedals for Shred Guitar

Heyo, my first post here. Been playing metal guitar for over 10 years and I'm curious of what reverb or delay pedals (if any) y'all use for lead tones.

I like subtle hints of virtuoso tones and recently came across the Chinese brand Biyang. They're like $50-60 and seem quite versatile for the price!

Boss GT-8. The reverbs and delays are probably the best thing about it.

I think for most guys that are doing lots of fast lead runs, you want a delay that's going to be dark and sort of fill out a little space. I typically look for analog/tape delays (or a digitally modeled analog/tape) when it comes to that sort of thing. You don't necessarily want a bright, digital delay that clutters up what you're actually playing.

That being said, everything in this thread I like fairly well. I don't think anything will ever top the Strymon El Capistan for tape delays, though.

I used to be a real Nova Delay fanboy, but I recently tried the MXR Carbon Copy and fell in love.

I read a couple of reviews in which people didn't think the MXR performed well in high gain settings, but I think that has more to do with the way they set the equipment up then the pedal itself. It's been great for me.

I've had both, and they're awesome on their own, but together they sound so fucking good. +tone prints.

I also had a carbon copy, and though it sounded awesome and is in every other persons rig, I liked the Flashback better.
    ^ probably sarcasm.
