So, I don't have the money right now to buy a new preamp and I've been growing a little tired of the more "classic" sound of the MP-1. (Don't get excited, I'm not getting rid of it. Ever.). I dragged my Chameleon 2000 out of the closet and have been playing with it for a while now and I've got some pretty cool sounds coming out of it. The cleans are great of course, and the Mega channel sounds decent but It's missing something. There's that classic pillow-over-speaker problem.
I know there are some Chameleon guys on here so what tips and tricks have you learned to get this thing sounding its best? There are a lot of different options and I don't think I understand all of them.
