Just got hold of my brother's Nikon D7000 to shoot some play-through videos for my next release. Decided to get familiar with it before I got into recording those videos, so here's my first attempt!
I'd love some tips and tricks to improve the overall video quality. I really want these next 3 videos to be good!
If you want your guitar tone to be heard clearly, record it to DAW at the same time while filming. Take two to four takes from different angles, to make the video look more interesting. When you are editing the video, add the recorded guitar track there, start cut and paste those filmed clips together, so that the clips match with the music.
That's one way to do a cool playthrough video.
