What's your favorite pick (size, style, gauge)?

I am in a stage where I am heavily experimenting with different gauges/styles...I've been using max grip carbon fiber jazz iii's, ultex jazz iiii's, petrucci signature picks, 0.88 tortex jazz iii's...I've been debating trying ultex jazz iii xl's and/or tortex jazz iii xl's...I just haven't found "the one" perfect pick yet...

What picks do you guys use? Any recommendations?

I've always used a Jazz III myself but lately I've been using Decibel Carbon Fiber pick as well as the regular Decibel picks. I like stiff picks so 1 - 2mm though lately I've been looking at the Hufschmid plectrums lately cause I tense a little too much and I heard his picks make it where you don't tense up as much.

I went from regular tortex greens to those tiny jazz iii's but now I've recently moved over to the bigger jazz iii's - I think they are about 0.8mm, and the same length as the tortexes so are much easier to grip, but have a nice point on them. James had them custom made by some online place I forget the name of.

Good lord, I go back and forth all the time.

Lately I've been using the white MG.org picks - jazz sized, tortex, probably 1.0mm. However, last night I grabbed another Jazz III Ultex, and it felt pretty awesome. And the week before I was playing a black 0.88 tortex jazz pick, and THAT felt great. So who knows.

    Jazz-sized and shaped, anyhow.
