Looking for a nice new practice amp! Budget of 400 although would like to stay below that. Currently using a RR3 going through a DD-5 delay, Plunged into a Peavey bandit. Defiantly looking for something with 'warm' gain. But as I don't use distortion pedals I need that 'Crunch' aswell, Peavey's vintage and modern setting achieve this fairly well. I will of course be trying some out but some pointers would be well received
PS I'm not strictly against Distortion pedals, just never found one I like, so pedal suggestions are welcome.
I too am after something similar as i have to set up my rig every time i play as i have nowhere to keep it set up all the time and it tends to stop me practicing. I'm considering the fender super champ x2 wich is an odd choice i know But it does have high gain models and a nice crunch and clean sound. It also a tube power section all though i really want an amp that is small enough to be left out all the time without upsetting the Mrs (our house is very small) so with that in mind i'm also looking at the Yamaha thr series not sure wether to go with the 5 or the 10 or the 10x
Edit: just watched this. pretty impressive
